Thank you all for the lovely compliments. I've never played a more expressive instrument. The intonation is flawless, and there's a great range in tone dependent on where you pick and with what. I've played a few cigar box's but this one's really very special. I can put up more pics and details of construction. It was made by Kurt Schoen of Walla Walla washington. This is the second instrument of his that I've played. His stuff is consistently awesome.  All that out of CGC!

The first thing that stands out is the tone of the instrument, but the playing and the look of it are also striking. Very nice.
