Thanks Boxy. I'm experimenting with metal coffee cans now to figure out how to attach plastic to them. Numerous failures so far but one actually worked! I'll post those after I get it figured out.

Yeah BARKER it hurts when my brain sprockets turn. If you use the Sprite/Mtn Dew bottles you could be going green in a couple of ways for Earth Day. And plant a couple of trees. Even if we don't cut our own, we're using wood for most of these projects. I think that makes sense to my old hippy friends and my Tea Party friends alike and it's hard to find points to agree on sometimes!

Thanks Nancy. Yeah smilingdog, I like to frequent yard sales and thrift stores. Sometimes for a couple of bucks I'll get a set with 1 large bowl and 4 small bowls. That's a whole family of instruments! I'm also going to experiment with rectangular (cigar box) and octagonal (self made) shapes to see if those will work.
