Thanks for the comments. 

The Micro Cube sounds better recorded (with a dynamic mic centered on the grill) than it does in the room.  I guess that's the beauty of small amps.  It's not quite big enough for outside parties; not loud enough at the sweet spot before totally breaking up into distortion noise.

And yes Clarky, I really like the Black Keys version.  I'm just too sloppy playing it that way (for now).

The drawback on the beer can mic is the piezo feedback.  It's not really usable in a live setting--I had to unplug it for the video then overdub with the pignose facing behind me to keep it from howling.  But it does sound authentically primitive for this kind of music.

Awesome man, I love Burnside.  "Meat don't shake" goddam right!

Have you heard Busted by The Black Keys?  It's almost identical (but they were big Burnside fans)
