Very nice Andries. The North entrance to the Shenandoah Park is in Front Royal Virginia only an hour from me.

Thanks uncle John ! it was all imagionairy ,wisperd to by the wind, i did have some right then? i just loved the sound of the Name! something from childhood something known & farmiliar , from what the pictures tell me a beautiful place! your country is so big ! that there is a valley whit that name and a city in a other state whit the same name? That leaves to say that you can not believe every thing you read on the Internet ,and Google just got e little less trustworthy ! A well ! a other day a other Dollar !

Hi there Keith ! thank for the historical correction ,it was al imaginativ anyway ,so i did not think on correctness, but you guy's live there so you all now ,i just know it from a wisper in the wind ! but its like we say he heard a bell but does not know where the thing hangs !! Still its a beautifull place  and i loved the word the name if you like ,"Shenandoah"it reminded me of series like Bonanza,High Shaparall ,and Names like that but that all happend in Texas did it not? so eventionaly i was right a little in both cases, only on a diverend merrid ! so sorry ! did you at least like it Keith?

Sounding old timey wonderful.   Loving the banjer and the haunting sounds.  Yup, Keith is right on the famous Shenandoah River, valley, national park and battle grounds are in Virginia, not Iowa.  A beautiful place.   ---  Iowa does have a town of Shenandoah and that is where the Everly Brothers were when they became famous.

Shenandoah National Park is in the state of Virginia, where part of the Civil War was fought What you have, is a County, in another state.
