Thanks Andries. The Robot Cowboy is a great song. It’s about when Earth is nothing but robots. The first verse goes, “I’m a robot cowboy, I ride a Robot horse. All my friends an newborns are robots of course”. I don’t know all the words but like to play along. Jim is a popular Duluth musician. He’s led many bands. He plays professionally all over the region. He plays with us for fun. 

I can find no numbers on the Regal. The shop I got it from did a lot of research on it to determine value. He couldn’t be specific on date but from photos fit it in the mid 1930’s. The headstock is very worn. The top is worn round. Not square at all anymore. The mother of toilet seat laminate is all crackled and very thin. No sign left of the logo. She suits me like an old pair of pants. :*)

the tuners are ancient but still work fine. The buttons are not cracked. The nut is beautiful and looks original. Worn but gives her very low action. No buzzes. Worn MOP fret dots. Dished fingerboard and the dishes are deep! Still frets ok though.

Happy New Year Dave ! i did think it was a inspirational  Titel thow! but still wondering is it about a modern milking Robot Cowboy,or a cowboy that turned in to a robot because of use of electronics, or a robot cowboy as a toy?, you see it leads to a train of thought that can be unstoppeble if you come think of it ! i did have a merry time have all my kids home for christmas so im the inkeeper and being busy as a bee on all counts ,and all went smoothly and we are so lucky that we did survived the hole ordeal one's more for a hole new year to come ,what ever it got instore for us !

be reading you Dave ! yep you got to play it plenty & put smoothwound strings on there they cost some but will in return give you plenty ! how are the frets & Tuners still in a oke condition? whats the production number? its situated on the back of the headstock! how many miles is this gettogether from your home then? for every rehersal? cose they come at your place allso dont they ,or do you do a rotating system? we use to do that whit the collectif that i was in !

Yup Andries we’re peripheral. Mere sidewinders in the sands of interspace. Ghosts of Christmas Past. I had plans to go to music tonight but the weather is frightful. Snow is pouring from the Heavens and below zero temps will squelch my fun tonight. I’m old so i’ll Sit by the hearth and shiver in the solitude. Lucky I have a Regal to gently Weep out the sad truth of a foiled revere. Perhaps you can have a Merry time for me? Happy New Year Andries!

Thanks Uncle. We play every Monday so we’re tight. Winter will keep us apart more often. We are meeting for New Year’s Eve. :*)
