As long as the Great lakes and snow don't dry up Dave I think your good but that don't mean the forest won't dry and burn. That's what wrong here we our running out of fresh water to drink. If we have another bad winter we are in trouble and they are predicting it will get worst. We can build R.O. plants but that wont save the Sierra and coast ranges. Invest in Company's that do this.

Thanks Brian, first night in 2 weeks I can see all the stars. 20 years ago I work on the tower line that failed and burned Paradise in the passed 10 years 4 towns i work in have burned..no one to blame but what to do

I’ve lived in the Nothwoods for most of my 75 years. Forrest fires have been to my doorstep. We are in a terrible predicament. I hope the drought doesn’t move East to our woodlands in Minnesota. I empathize so much with our sad old world.

Northern Californian here, it’s real & I smell the fires everyday, in fact I pass it on the way to work. Trump says it’s bad forest management, but climate change is real, his idea of forest management is concrete buildings, not research & development? Thanx for sharing, and thanx for caring :)

Some of my old vids John, a few years ago Towns started to burn in California. Then a few a year now Washington ,Oregon & California will lose many Towns due to Lightning based fires. And few started by idiots. Its getting worst not better, soon we won't be able to build in the Forest. You can't rake or wish this away

Got my eyes wet too.  A sad state of climate, homes and lives.  I hope we find a way to start making it better.  I am ready for some sacrifice for the future.
