ED, any honest person who writes a song wonders if they heard it or something similar and 'stole it'.    Almost impossible to write a song that does not sound like another.  This is a pretty and mellow tune ~ well played.  Go listen to the 'Goin To California' song.  Be sure yours is just enough different - then call it your own, name it and be proud of it.   Nice work!

I agree with Jason: you've got a bit of Zep's Goin' To California in there, maybe. It may be the way you're finger picking it, but the chord declensions sound close, too. Nothing wrong with taking a Page from the Zep repertoire
