Safe travels Uncle. Roads are slippery and rutted here. I’m Sticking to home. It’s going down to -14 tonight. First cold snap of Winter. I’ll play my cat and nap. I love guy Clark songs too. We have the same taste. Don’t practice you slide while driving!

I am glad you overcame the struggles, Dave.  It sure looks and sounds good.  I strung one up yesterday with high expectations.  Yuck.  Expectations not met.  Seems to need work on both ends, a cleaner break at the saddle and maybe some work or lowering of the string guide above the nut.  Not today.  Got to travel.

Dave, I like the main lick you are doing and the slide.  I tried to emulate it and can do it - needs polish.  I should sit down and practice and add a song like that to my repertoire.  Maybe I will, but I keep hearing new story songs that I love to (temporarily learn).  Guy Clark is my main man of late.
