It was gettin' late and I was gettin' a little sloppy but decided to go ahead with this. Doc Watson, Mississippi John Hurt, and many others have done this so...

One of my fave songs, Jim.   Wonderfully done.   Man, that tuning sounds good for you.

Thanks RTZ! Yeah, I fingerpicked this instead of strummed because of listening to MJH. These are pretty easy to build - less frets and they take about 1/2 the time compared to my other stuff. I've built them with the doubled high string which gives a more dulcimer like tone but the 3 stringers sound cool too. I'm trying to finish 4 or 5 of these this week to be ready for some pre Christmas craft shows that I'm in. In the past they've sold pretty well in the $40 - $50 range.

Yeah,Mr C it's dulcimer fretted and tuned D,a,d.

MJH approved , well done regardless of condition. Sounds loud to me keeps up with your voice. been want to do a dulci always wanted a MT. hourglass but a strumstick would get more use. Just before I started building CBG's was going to get a kit Dulci. Glad I didn't.

Thanks Denny!

Thanks anonymous.

Thanks Clock.

Thanks James O.

Thanks Matt. I was actually thinkin' about you when deciding how many verses to do. I've got about 5 more that I left out but wanted to make it a more complete song than some of the others I've posted.

Thanks Wes. This is one that I love because it crosses the gap from blues to bluegrass and lots of other styles. I like so many types of music and really dig songs that fit with them all.
