Derek, that was some fine grunging, well done! I’ve done this song, one of my favorites of Neil, many times through the years, felt it was a good fit! It was nice to lay back like a lazy bass player and have the guitarist do all the work haha! I also wanted to showcase your instrumental, which was superb. We here at the Nation don’t get to many instrumentals from you, your an excellent guitarist buddy!  This was fun D, thanks!

Sir James, gotta say I love your new song, I was humming it all day! I was doing my usual collection of photos, effects, film clips...you know, pickups, L.A.,brass beds, wild women.....then I saw this, bling bam thank you, perfect pickup truck! Thanks James!

We thank you very much Bob, really appreciate the compliment!  When I saw the truck, that was it.  Nostalgia , Neil and a classic pickup.

AP, you been riding witches at the rodeo again! Ha! I spent an hour trying to play a little Swamp Witch lead, but knowing me, it would be loud and overpowering, and it was perfect, leave well enough alone! I could have tried playing the bass with the Witch....hummmmm! Thanks Pick!

I’ll certainly will check out Kurt Vile, sounds like someone I’d like.  Sounds like Derek was surprised I could  manipulate  a Neil Young song out of the great tune he sent, but on first listen, that’s what I wanted to try. Had to squeeze a few words in to make it work. Thank you Clarky!

Thank you very much Uncle! Derek  subliminally channeled Neil Young, sent a cozy nice fit song with an army of CBGs complete with Derek on drum solos. I played a  cool bass player with sunglasses and leather,  who sang......what’s the odds of that!

Thanks StorminSteve, always fun blending thoughts and ideas with Derek! Not my truck, that would be awesome. Just pretend!

I took a break of sorts A.D!  Derek sent me this great instrumental with all the bells and whistles, I just added bass, easier said than done, and did a mimicking yob of Neil Young. Video came together pretty quick when I found this beauty of a restored truck, just added my lights here and there. Thanks for the kind words A.D!

Hey, I hear you Wes! Don’t go out much myself, have to  rely on lyrics of those that used to! Thanks Wes!

It was fun grunging it up on this one and it was a cool surprise when Richard adapted a Neil Young tune to it. Great job on the vocals and adaptation Richard! And cool vid. :)
