Found a new love letter from your old boyfriend... Played on the 6 string cbg, plugged into a Roland Micro-cube amp. Thanks for listening!

Thanks everyone for the comments, likes and listens! Of course this was not a love song at all - more a tear-in-your-beer song. LOL

Thank you Nancy! I dig it when people like the lyrics since I try to get them to a certain point. A cd would be fun to at least record. Thanks for the encouragement and love the kitty pic which is perfect for the theme!

Hi Andries, yup that is my basement workspace. I added a reverb track so that's probably helping with the "acoustics" LOL. I was experiencing some vertigo so decided to play instead of build. Thanks for the listen and especially the comments! Have a great evening! :)

Thank you, Richard! I appreciate your comments. I am fine thanks, LOL. This was all fictional except maybe some suppressed experience from my youth - at least the heart ache stuff.

Thanks for the encouragement and info too. It would be fun to do for certain. Getting decent recordings with accompaniment may be a challenge too I suspect.

Hope your ok, I feel like a cannonball in free fall for you Derek! Wow, powerful lyrics and soulful singing, mighty fine song my friend. I published a CD back in 2009. It's not all that hard, and it's a rewarding experience. You should do it! You have some very promising songs. It's a matter of choosing a publisher, I used Discmakers, then they do all the legal and barcode stuff, make the disc and artwork, master the songs to bring them up to radio quality. Then they set you up with a worldwide distribution center, I used CDBaby.com, and they send it out everywhere for digital sale. Cost: $800-1200, depending what you want. I notice a lot of recording companies on Facebook that will master a single and distribute the single to radio and digital sales worldwide for 200-300$. You'll always wonder, what if!

Thank you Shane. Much appreciated. After building for 5 years I finally have a 6 to keep (so far) for myself!
