I just got this new native flute (in the key of E Minor) and I wanted to share it with everyone. I got a great price on it after meeting a super cool flute maker who lives in Oklahoma. This instrument is pretty intuitive. I had only owned it for a few hours when I made this video. BTW, I added a little delay to the sound clips to give it that classic canyon echo. So cool!

Thanks Buggy and Derek.... and no I have not seen the carrot flutes. I'm going to go search for it though.

It sounds great. Has that ancient haunting tone.

Like Dave, I love these flutes. That's a beautiful piece! I spent most of my coming of age and adult years in Oklahoma. Dated a Cherokee woman through college. Got a lot of exposure to their culture since her dad was of the old ways. Took awhile to gain enough trust from him to tell me stories of the old Cherokee ways. He was in his seventies.  Those flutes remind me of those stories. Also learned as much as I could about the Pawnee, Apache, Chickasaw, and others. If you have never been to a real Pow-Wow, I'd highly recommend it.

Thank you for playing that instrument. I love the sound, and you did well. Very nice.

I love those flutes Kale. The delay sounds good with it. You can circular breath on one too. I used to play clarinet and got some circular breathing going on it. Thanks for the G/Em info.
