Danny and Poopshoe, thanks for the good feelings. I have loved the Carter family since I first heard them in 1960 or so. I learned to play because of Maybelle. Har Carter Scratch (bump didle) taught me pickin. I know more Carter tunes than any other. I grew up in Elvis age. Don’t know why old time country and blues struck such a Chord in me?
