Yeah turtlehead, so many times real talent doesn't get props unless a hit record is involved. Prince had it all but I really feel for the great players who weren't so well known except by other players.

Thanks RTZ. His playing along with Link Wray and Danny Gatton and Roy Buchanan were big influences on me. Link and Danny were local to the S MD area I grew up in and I was the kid with my chin on the stage trying to figure out how they did it.

Aw yeah.  I got some catching up to do with Lonnie Mack.  Seems like there are an endless number of people like him who were influential but never made the big time.

Thanks Nancy. When I play these old rock songs I get to feel like I'm 19 again - for about 2 1/2 minutes. And then I have to catch my breath. 

Never watched much pro wrestling (except when it was on TV in whatever bar I was plying music in) but I heard about Chyna's passing. This has been a pretty tough year.

Thanks Dave. Yeah, this is the kind of stuff I used to do on 6 string back in younger days. Wasn't real sure if I still had any of those chops but after about the 5th take it started to fall into place.
