Same here, Chinese and Japanese. But a few years ago they did build a new steel pipe mill in my hometown (Girard) for the oil & gas fracking (horizontal drilling) in western Pennsylvania. Never thought we would see a new mill go up!

The city i worked in was Sheffield . They used to make loads of steel until they closed it all down .

They now by from the Chinese .

Shane, hope there are other jobs available near you. I ended up moving 2 hour drive from home 30 years ago when the steel and auto industry went down. But stayed with the same company since then, though lost a lot of coworkers in the last recession. Best of luck in the new year. This is a great tune, sorry it is so biographical.
