Just figured out how to multi track in iMovie. First attempt with a monitor to hear the first track while adding the second. Cool!

Thanks Richard. I got a stroke of yenious. I was up late playing it out. I'll sure have fun with the discovery. I used to multitrack with two cheap cassette decks by playing one into the other. Terrible sound but lots of fun for tape sponding. Now this is clear and clean. The fun's begun!

Feeling it, Dave.   Can't do much better.

Thanks Dave for the info, your my favorite video tech! I'll have to try that. My guitars don't hardly pickup unless plugged into some kind of amplifier. Maybe try acoustic strings. All the configurations I fiddled with and the solution was right there. Even the instructions manual doesn't cover that. Can't wait to see your future creations Dave, thanks for sharing.

Thanks James and Pick. James I kind of channeled your fine voice just a little by singing it in G this time with reverb up on guitar and tremello on the second guitar track. I love your voice and would love to get some of it in my mouth.

Yup Richard I did the video first. The track you see. Then I plugged in the earphones and hit the microphone symbol and get the track armed. Then record and walla, monitored second track. Then I found I can hit record after saving or "accepting" the second track and I get a third track. I've tryed a forth track and it did it. You can then eq the tracks by highlighting each track and adjusting the volume. WORKS!

I really like this song Dave! Heartfelt and Blues! You figured out multi track on iMovies. So do you record a guitar track first, then record the video? I've tried to monitor while recording, but I did video first and couldn't monitor. The video is excellent!

A new door has opened for me today. I tried multi tracking in iMovie. This time using ear phones to hear the first track while doing the second. I had done multi track before but without a monitor. I just watched for a rhythm and faked it. Now I can hear it. Cool!
