"Play it like the beauty is inside."   I love that.

Okay.  V does like those Oregon ducks.  Well, I assumed it was and Iowa plate because it sounds so good.  Most edjamacated builders concede that Iowa plates sound the best and that Mississippi plates have the coolest blues history.   But a lot of blues came out of Illinois, Arkansas, Texas, Georgia and other places.

Ratty and rusty! This LPG is seasoned and distinguished, used by artists who don’t shy from throwing it out of frustration. Uncle, I learned this from you.....might not have been you....ha....play it well like the beauty it is inside, it will look the same, but will be a loyal friend forever. This would be cool if it was one of your early builds revisited. The UO does not stand for ugly and old! I’m blessed, it stands for University of Ohio! Now I’ve ticked off two states, calling this an Iowa plate! No, nothing saves my blind eye! In honor of the Vinster, he wears the hat sometimes, it stands for his Hometown university, the University of Oregon. Go Ducks! I’m from Oregon so I can say this! The other state college is the Oregon State Beavers. Pretty  intimidating  names huh! When the Trojans or Bruins or Bears go into duck stadium, they’re  quivering ha! Thanks Uncle, I’ll do my very best to make it shine!

Dave, it does look like one of my builds.   I thought the same and wondered.  I've made so many that I forget them.  I think this is someone else's build  -   or one of mine that someone improved.  It is ratty and rusty and Richard makes it shine.

Richard, what the heck does UO mean?

Thanks Dave! Uncle might have inspired this at CALLYFEST last year, but the details are foggy, if you remember some of his stories. Ah, Ohio, crazy sixties,  shenanigans of youth! I definitely need to practice, I was like a kid horsing around like a dog on a beach....everything, everywhere! The date has been rubbed off to protect the identity of the user. Ohio, not Iowa....I’m slow, but still trainable.

I listened again. I love the sound of your new consort. It looks like Uncle might a made it. Give us sumor Richard. I lived in Ohio for a good spell back in the 60’s. Your plate looks old. No date even? Role the die.

Thanks AGP! Your right! It’s an Ohio plate! Must be getting close to 69 and dipping in Uncle’s Pawn Shop Pharmacy....seeing Iowa when I’m reading Ohio! The plate has seen some wear and tear, probably Vinnie’s bootleg business! Can’t wait to plug into my workstation amps, this has a great pickup! Rusty Rusticy, I like that!

Lucky  7 from one dice A.D. Yes my friend, this feels like a blues machine. I felt like a hound dog on a beach, running and checking everything out in a frenzy of  schizo, and the song proves it! Finding the sweet spots, every guitar has different ones, then.....controlled schizo with a side of spaz, my regular breakfast plate, but heavy on the blues! The Improv Tone Doctor has built that in! Thanks for your insight and great comments as always, play on we shall 2019!

Beauty in the eye of the beholder Dave ha! Yes, some of the nastiest blues possible! This guitar gives attitude, besides we’re both rusty and crusty! My first blues song, My Ugly Mothah Plays Like A Beauty Queen. Thanks Dave!

I don’t know who built this guitar Uncle! I know his friend Greg worked the headstock from a square block to this neater look and he added this very fine pickup. Yes, anyone who follows Vinnie knows he’s a kind and generous man. I might call it the “Rusty Beast “, Ilike that! Thanks Uncle!

Thanks Denbo! I’ll have to ride this wild blues stallion a while before I can control it, it has tendencies of it’s own. I agree, I like the rusty rustic look and feel to it. Big footsteps to fill following the Vinster!
