Kool, I too, was able to meet them back in the 80’s, they also sparked my interest in old music. They never ceased to put on a great show, I miss them....

True stories... last week my wife & I were out getting new eyeglasses for me when "Human Fly" by The Cramps came on the in store radio. That night...I thought I'd give it a try on my Teisco equipped 3 string. Changed it up some..but I liked the sound!

In the '80s... back in Ohio...I got to know Lux's younger brother as he was in a band called The Walking Clampetts. I made him & the other guitarist (John Teagle -future author of Fender Amps - The First 50 years) cassette tapes of rockabilly tunes I was starting to collect. One cold December night..I went to see the Clampetts at a small dive/punk bar...and in walks Lux & Ivy !! Stood right next to me!!
