We call it Pub Rock down under Clarky, don't know if you've ever heard of them, but if you like that type of sound, check out the Aussie Band  "Rose Tattoo"  :-)

Well Done Clarky, don't recall ever hearing of the band "Clutch", just had look on Google & Utube, and will definitely be investigating further, they do make the kind of noise I like  :-D
