Yeah Erasmo, Unc was doing his usual joking around. He was making reference to Roger Miller's Dang Me - they oughta take a rope and hang me song. There are many trad versions of the song I did here and it has nuttin' to do with Mr Miller.

Lol Unc, yeah I kinda strayed from Roger Miller's version. Here in WV we usually cringe when somebody goes into Country Roads. It's been a bit overplayed and worse than that, people always get the chords wrong in that middle bridge part. But now I'll consider this a request for our newest State Song (we've got 4 or 5) and will do a version of it real soon! The song was mostly written by Bill and Taffy Danoff who lived in DC at the time and had never even been to WV. John Denver co wrote parts of it and lived in Colorado but Thank God He Was a Country Boy!
