here's     one  i    fretted   with bobby pins for  oily . but it was built that way,   and  pre- changes  were made that you may have had to   go around    or  overcome .

To slide in!
On a magnetic retention system?
Magnets hot glued to removeable
Fret markers dots?
Or the fret dots are magnets?
With a steel fretboard?

The tiny bit I did do does work just.

But Pick may be right about leaving it as
Is and that is my plan with a removeable
Fretboard for recording purposes only

But recon it may sound better as a slider

Off to fight off the witches spells again.....
