Dangerous sweatshirt in Boston on AFC Championship day and details on how I built my latest resonator guitar.

I still have to tweak the action a little but overall I'm getting used to playing this new git.

Very nice build Eric! What is the scale length?

Very nice, Eric. I used a spring on my first 3-string and I was really surprised how much effect it produced. I've got a reso in the works and plan to work one in again.

Thanks Uncle John. This guitar seems to really like a flat pick, but I haven't done that in so long I'm pretty rusty.

It surprised me how good the sound was while palm muting the strings.

That cool looking git sounds just as nice.   Good intonation and all.   Nice demos.   Get those girls well.

Thanks for the compliment Piht Bull! I thought the pun worked in naming this guitar.

Thanks Steve. I did test both ways and the springs are significant. The add considerable volume and rich reverb. Without them it wasn't a banjo tone, but similar. Especially when I had I tuned DGBbD. The DGdg tuning really suits this guitar.

Nice. Like the combo zero nut/string guide idea. Have you tried a with and without springs comparison, and is it a noticeable difference?
