GETTING PERFECT INTONATION ON A CIGAR BOX GUITAR

Justin Johnson and Devil Guitars Tasmania come together to offer a Video Lesson from the Tasmanian leg of Justin Johnson's "Smoke & Mirrors World Tour," sponsored by C.B. Gitty Crafter's Supply.
This video lesson focuses on how to set the intonation on a handmade guitar, by making adjustments to the bridge and/or nut.

Great video. Love the box made from corrugated iron. A real Aussie treat. I use Tassie oak for some of my necks too.

you've ruined my ignorant bliss of my first build. Thanks for the tips, anyway though. Awesome tips and explanations. Now to decide whether to fix this one or just do better next time.

Great job guy's really useful stuff. When at all possible I like to use a floating bridge. This way you can change the string size and adjust intonation or change the size of the bridge sound board contact. Very important on acoustic instruments the contact point of string to bridge and bridge to top.
