You are right Poorness, they are into it. A large and vibrant group of ukulele players, so I play my cigar box uke. I have to show my allegiance!!!

Not exactly Dave. Notice all those ukuleles!!! Different group, but don’t I wish those were CBGs. Maybe one day! Love the term Zoomerific; I’ll have to add it to my vocabulary!

Thanks Uncle John! I listened to Endless Summer more than a few times in my youth! I got my idea to Zoom with the Slingers from the Ukulele group. I had been meaning to ask them about recording a session when the leader announced she was recording at the latest meeting. I negotiated to get access to it and permission to post the songs I led. I wanted to give everyone a taste of Zooming with a cigar box uke and playing more than 1-finger chords! Big groups sure are fun!

I like that!   A song from my youth.  I sure loved the Beach Boys.   Big group there, Doug.  You do so well with these folks.

You are correct BrianQ and AGP! The fun part of the ukulele group for me is that others lead most of the songs, so I get to play with them and learn new songs too!

The Ukulele group is much larger than the cigar box guitarslingers. In the days when we used to meet at the library we would normally have from 20-30 gathered to play ukuleles vs under 10 for the guitarslingers. That is quite the playing and socializing experience! It is fun to play with others.
