Dave, I can bet you'll want to play it also. have different bass versions, the one i was referring to uses the largest bass guitar stings i could get my hands on, E and D, sounds like a bass the way it's set up. then i have what Uncle called my deadly diddly. fun. love the fire.

Kind words friends. I’m making another 2 string fiddle AGP. I’m loving them. I’m trying for Viola strings this time. A little shorter than my HoHo. Maybe it will be in D at that length. I just glued the neck in. I think the raw sound of them droning backs up the clear sweet tones of the slide on my 3 string guitars. I try to keep it background. It overpowers the guit if loud.

thanks Keith, i’ll Burn Some Bridges Down. I got to try you and Uncles song to it.

Thanks Shane. I love you play and demos. You sure can show off your lutherie.

Come on in Daniel. We’ll tune up and play. I want to hear that bass!

Great video shots of the Lake & Fire Dave!, the Slim Pickins Banjo & Ho Ho Fiddle are a delight to listen to, don't know if it's just my poor old deaf ears, or if any body else is of the same opinion, but the Ho Ho Fiddle definitely adds a Sitar type sound to it, which I think is great!  :-)

Okay, the banjo sounds like it is saying, "Burn Them Bridges Down" to me. Sounds good Dave.

how could i possibly be chilly sitting 2 ft from that fire with my cedar 2 sting bass?

Thanks Uncle John. I’m in a fishing mood too. I just got my license. I got it free! I brought my social security papers to the bait shop and they gave me the license FREE. IF YOU GET OLD ENOUGH they become free. :D) So i’m Bowing my Blues away, Boyz. I lay my troubles troubles down.

Love that sound.  The fire looks comforting.   And hungry for sticks.  37 degrees here, Dave.  Gonna warm up.  Darn, your lake shots are putting me in a fishing mood.

One of those repeated phrases sounds to me like it the banjer is saying, "Lay your troubles, down, boy.  Lay your troubles down."   I just did.  Fiddle sounds nice in the background.  I should be getting some real fiddle strings and rosin, maybe tomorrow.

Thanks Daniel. Thanks Pick. I’m glad the blizzard held off till evening. It’s still parked right over us but it’s melting on the ground quickly. Still looking for Spring. Wish you were here too D. But you would be chilly.
