As promised, this sound test is on my lap steel. The audio isn't really good, but you get the idea.
I'm playing the neck pup, a zebra pup, through my Fender Vibro Champ. Settings: Gain 3 Volume 10 Bass 7 Treble 7 with a bit of vibro.

I will post an "after" video when I replace the zebra pup with my new Ted Crocker custom Dowunder humbucker...it has a walnut top to match the single downunder in the bridge position.

Playing a variation of Amazing Grace, I think.
