Fantastic Discoveries

A little bit about boxes PLUS a fantastic find. Great excitement in our household today!

If anyone has any tips regarding the restoration of this instrument or knows any further history about it please do let me know. I found refernces on the internet suggesting it could be 100 years old. The tailpiece is marked "Made in England" but I saw an internet reference to possible German origins. The brand name on the headstock is "Walliostro" which may mean something to someone. No date on the string packages but they were made by an old established company in New Jersey.
