Electric Washboard - build & demo

I decided to do an electric washboard build just for fun. I used a magnetic pickup to electrify the steel grate. It works really well and is less prone to feedback than a piezo.

Ha ha. Thanks for the comments Bob, Denbo, UJ. I really like the idea of playing washboard but its just not all that interesting by itself. It definitely shines in a band situation.

Nice abs!    Nice accoutrements and fun play.  I need a bell for my bike.  Ohhh.   Big sound plugged in. 

Give us a vid with you playing guitar and your wife or someone else playing the board.  Jig band?  Have you listened to the Memphis Jug Band?   I like them a lot and especially like Will Shades their harp player.
