Hello BrianQ ! yep thats so true, broke the G string on my Dobro Yesterday, in a haze i figgured put a hole new set on, phuuwwww, that was a bommer indeed! did not get my ususal Martin's Silk&Steel, he gave me a pack Vintage, it sounds good for play and picking but for slide i need flats indeed they tend to eaze better in the tone! so now i have to redo the hole thing, a week a gone he (Ry) was here in holland and did a show in amsterdam, new crew, eazy fibe, cool !!

Great video Andries!!! I got to talk to Ry when he came thru Cali back in the 80’s, real neat guy. He keeps same strings on his slide guitars for up to 2 years, said it gives him those kool tones. That reso sounds awesome!!!
