Thanks Derek. I think Steve Stills used a 6 string variety of this tuning. Something like EEeebe so only the  6th, 2nd and 1st strings stayed where they were and everything else got tuned to the nearest E note. Thanks for bringing this up - I'd forgotten all about him using this tuning! Oh man, now I have to try some of Suite Judy in this 3 string tuning!

Cool Jim! I think this is kind of like the Suite Judy Blue Eyes tuning too? Those low bass notes sound great.
