I love my Panasonic Radio Amp Poorness. I’ve learned from John McNair how old battery AM radios can be converted to amps. I have a friend, Paul Vanderhork who is a electronics wiz. He did the conversion by taking out 3 diodes to kill the radio and added a 1/4 inch jack into the on/off volume pot and grounded to the chassis. The radio amp doesn’t have high volume but it has a clear tone and has AC or DC operation.

Thanks Uncle John. I like all kinds of slides, not just the ones I make. Glass slides have such a smooth sound. And this one has multiple uses. Shot glasses hold many stories.

I like to use a shot glass slide now and then. Especially for my Terraplane didley. Funny to see my fave slide maker using one. Sounding kind of ominous here, Dave, but good too.

Man that radio amp sounds good Dave. Nice technique with the shot glass as well. I'm usually tipping the bottom of the shot glass toward the sky for a different reason. Ha ha.

SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD THERE DAVE I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF USING A SHOT GLASS FOR A SLIDE BUT SEEMS LIKE IT WORKS PRETTY GOOD

Nice to hear from you Brian. I found the old shot glass buried in our garden. I think it belonged to Sonny, Yanis’ Uncle, who’s garden we inherited.
