But the catalog's & Jimi sites & Wikepedia say's its treu so it must be treu that his name WAS Johnny Allen Hendrix, but his father changed that after his mother who dyed of liver disease left  him whit a guy called allen, in to James Marchall Hendrix .

Hi Brian Q Thank for the feedback, according my 1967 booklet from the publishing co;LTD. A.Schroeder Music  Berkeley street LONDON.from the Experience album His Name is James Maurice Hendrix Nov 27 1945 Seatle, Washington USA. there are also publications  that say Marchall instead of Maurice, it is believed that that was due to the fact he got a good contract Whit Marchall  amps; for a live time deal.His fathers name was James Alan Hendrix, and we all know they all call him Jimi,or Jimmy,Im Glad you liked it !Greeeeettsszz A.D.
