Hmmm, almost missed this as I was out riding the fence line on my pigmy pony!

Its weird, so I like it. But I also agree with those who have tried to make the point that "regular" fretting need not be feared, it is not that difficult to master, nor necessarily expensive as many creative individuals here have proven.

Use the method that suits you and yes, please share as you learn! Good tip Pick!

For those of you not in-the-know ( and apologies for all the in-jokes), there appear to be more than a number of Frank Zappa Freaks hereabouts, who can quote from some of his better-known lyrics. One wonders what FZ would have made of a CBG...
