I do like my tool chest Uncle. I got it thinking guitar body but it’s too good for that. It holds all the bone and antler I need. Around here, antler can be found in the wild or at rummage sales. Deer are everywhere. However at Petco it’s very expensive. I love that heater too. It works very well and is small. My Profane heater is expensive and a fume factory.

Thanks Randy. I knew you’d have lots for less. I don’t find Petco expensive. I am a small scale nut maker so 6$ for a big cow bone is cheep. Randy, what are knife scales? The handle part?
I can get a dozen nuts or more from one bone.

Coolest tool chest ever.   Great looking neck and moon.   Good info, buddy. Nice heater.  Stay warm.

I use a diamond disc bit in my dremel to cut the bone blank to the size nut i need, and the surface of the disc to shape the nut. Also for the price of a pet store dog chew bone, you can buy a pair of bone knife scales [ Ebay ]. Their already milled to 1/4" thick, and there is plenty for more nuts and bridge saddles.

Petco is a store at the mall that sells all manner of pet stuff Danny. They have antler, hooves, many kinds of bones from huge leg bones with meat still there to bleached white clean dog bones wrapped in plastic. That’s what I buy.

Thanks Bones. The bones I get are bleach white, clean and plastic wrapped. The meaty bones I have’nt tried. I think they need to be dry. That’s a good question for Randy Bretts.

Thank you sir! Impressive going from 'raw stock". Getting to the heart of the issue. Would have liked to see some cutting, but I can see it anyway, hand/eye coordination. I like your "deep notch" technique as well. Your Rocket here in pennseltucky has deep notches, one even at an angle, and rings true as a bell. I like your magic pencil as well.
