Very nice and pretty build.  Oh!   That sounds great.   Nice playing. 

On the downward string pressure on the nut, most of us have run into that problem.   A bit more space from nut to nearest tuner will usually help.  Gitty sells string retainers/ string trees that help too. 

Nice builds and playing.  I really liked your work with the Union Gap.
