Yes AGP, I hold Dennis 100% responsible for introducing me to CBGs. I saw a post of his on Facebook a little over two years ago now, and he built this, I like to call my Cadillac CBG because it looks so fine, and I’ve been addicted ever since. I totally understand the the raw power of playing an instrument straight to video, I tend to video it up too much. I did kind of burn myself out making videos, over 150 in two years, can’t believe that. Some took a long time. I sorta got the Hollywood thing out of my system, at least for a while. Your point is excellent, and I’ll try to work on my performance, keeping it basic. That ain’t easy for a studio junkie, now I have to record with clothes on! One of the best comments I’ve ever received AGP, thank you so much for your inspiration and support my friend!
Thank you very much Matthew, very nice comment!
Thanks James! I’ve talked to Derek and I’m sure your the same, I’ve written hundreds of songs over all the years on sheets of paper, napkins, little bits of newspaper, basically anything. I have several folders of them and I like going back through them . Most are unbelievable crap, but sometimes a good sentence gets me going on a new song. Such is the case here.
Excellent Nancy, covered with cats! I’ve had to learn to sing softer and lower, lots of other patios in earshot. The association manager warns me constantly to keep my guitar and singing down. I try, but I get carried away sometimes. It’s a good rule, because I’ve had to listen to people practice bagpipes, trombone, and a terrible violin. Problem with singing low, because I sing higher, is hitting lots of flats and ear numbing bad notes ha! I like when it’s cold or raining, then I let loose. Thanks for the nice comments!
Thanks so much Uncle! Hope your move is goes smooth and your new home meets all your expectations.
Thanks Dave! Hopefully your up and running soon. My iPad is always maxed out. I use these Zip drives from Amazon to off load my videos and save them. It instantly frees up room so I can record again. There’s one I found that’s super easy and doesn’t cost that much and holds tons of videos depending on the capacity you chose. Get ahold of me if your interested.
awesome job Richard vocals and playing
Nice playing and singing , you crank em out, do you serve drinks on the patio!....
Nice Mellow Tones and a great Lookin' Build Rich, exactly what one has come to expect from a DMR Git, Nice Song, Vocals, Pickin' & Playin', Dave's envious of your Video Making and I'm envious of your Playing Talents, "Well Done Sir", might be just me, but!, one man in front of the camera playing his CBG, is to me, my kind of viewing :-)
just lovely sounding!
