Hi, Danny.  I agree with what you said on the balance of between voice and instrument.  And the balance was off here.   I love this song and tried it in 4-5 different keys and could not find a key where I could sing it and produce more volume.   I have a bunch of guitars and will often try to find the one that works, then some times choose the wrong one, the one that rings out like this one  - too much ring right there!  Maybe 3-4 feet back would have helped balance.  I may try to re-do it next Christmas.

Good song UnkJ.. I like to be honest ( to help) I have problems with recording most of my songs so that my voice and the guitar both get equal opportunity to be heard. I struggle because I move everything around ( sony hand cam/ amps/ powered speakers ect..) You have been making recordings for a long time and I love your songs. This one needed a little tweek in the placement of your recording device. Maybe try moving the camera around one time and play it back to see where equal time might exist. I like to hear your voice, this one kept you in the dark. good day ol boy
