Yes. Anyone who wants to take this guitar part. Be cool to see how many different versions could be had with one idea. Or I'll be happy to work with anyone who wants me to as well. I'll check out your tracks ASAP!

How to play. three string guitar tuned to 1, 5, 1. Played with a slide.

Hit the open chord. Quickly slide up from the 12 fret to the 15 on the fist two strings. The 12 fret first two strings. The slide on the 7 fret of the fist string strum all three strings. First string open. Slide from the 2 to 3 fret on the second string. Second string open. First string open. Next four notes are all open. First string. Second string. First string. Third string. Quickly slide up from the 12 to the 15 on the first two strings and so on. Repeat this four times.

Second part

First string, second string, first string all open. Slide on all strings to the 5 fret. First string open. Slide from 2 to 3 on first string. First string open. Slide all strings to 5 fret. Strum and quickly deaden all three open strings twice. Slide up all strings to 5 fret. First string open. Slide from 2 to 3 fret first string. Slide all strings to 5 fret. Start first part over by playing the all open picking pattern. First string, second string, first string, third string. Quickly slide up from the 12 on the first two strings to the 15.

Note on the fist part. The only time you would hit a full three string chord instead of the four note open pattern is to start the song.

Enjoy!

Laid down a drum track/harmonica and 1 stringed bass. Collaboration is posted both on Facebook (Steven Miles)
AKA smilingdog on the collaboration site called Kompoz. It's free and easy. Or I can email people the MP3 download. This is open at both ends for artistic freedom if I understand you correctly.

I learnt from Bemuzic start with a solid rhythm like hitting a book regularly, plus most people can handle mp3 format

to add drums later in reverse doesn't work, so start with a rythm.

Plus there's a blog on here where each person can attach up to 7 meg files to share..

Let me know if I can help.. Mr Clock is good at turning videos into MP3's...

But I'm not quite sure what all of this is about, but it sounds kinda fun..

Yeah, Kompoz has a frightening license list of choices that bring me to laughter.

I see your technical points and their difficulties.

Some folks are good at taking simple MP3 downloads and cooking them together, while others here are great with video. It would make for a funamation Nation!

OK checked out Kompoz. Haven't joined yet. With this old mac I may have problems. May have to wait till I get the new computer. Before starting anything I want to read threw all their license choices. And scour their privacy policy. I'm no fan of the music industry. There is so many logistics. Each new part will have to be in perfect pitch and timing with the original idea. Yes you can fix timing and pitch with a DAW. But it's a real long pain in the backside. Every collaborator is going to have to have a DAW of some sorts. That way they can record there parts without included the original track. Send only what they have to offer to the site.

Or we could play it this way.

This could be a cool project for the entire nation at some time.

Build-A-Songathon ( catchy name :-) )

A bunch of members create complete rhythm parts.
Other members pick and choose to add singing to these songs
Then other members add leads.
Still other members can add supporting instrument parts. Banjo, mandolin, violin, dulcimer, bass, complimentary
guitar parts, drums and the like.

Each new addition is added to the original recording by the person doing the modification. Then this new recording is uploaded back to a site. You could end up with five different songs from one single rhythm part.
You end up with a finished song that's been done by Nation members.

Uncle John, I'm a big scifi, anima, furry, cosplay fan. A geek at heart. : ) Cause is a character I bring to life at different conventions.

Smilingdog1. When you do come up with something let me know what key you want to perform in. I'll re record this in that key. Or if it helps I'll put up a new vid in a key of your choice asap. I'll check out Kompoz.
