Awesome!!! I am smiling? Fun Stuff! It’s verifiably Dirty!!! And thanx for verifying!!! That was actually based on the Dead Easy Dirt circuit which was a popular search some years back. I wanted to show what can be made other than amps with this often misunderstood Audio amp? I have a 2nd part to this about adding a DPDT On/Off Switch & external Power Jack. My next article after will be on the Lil’ Gem amp, then another popular LM386 Dirt box? I love to build! I like to glue those Dead Bug style builds to a flat piece of scrap, it’ll quiet down if circuit & main connections are anchored down?  Solder joints weaken every time a wire jostles about, that’s where the noise is prolly coming from? Great, recovery on that cheese box mishap!!! Every time I put a prototype in a recycled container like that, my wife rolls her eyes like OK..........

Fun stuff Kale ! took me back a fjew years !! BQ is smiling now !  reminded me of the harpjug a fjew years back , sounded screemy aswell !
