This is Amber, a 23.5" scale 4-stringer, tuned E, A, C#, F#. After spending the morning staring at an Am pentatonic scale sheet for baritone uke I'm starting to get the hang of it. Still sounds like I'm just going up and down the scale but at least my fingers are finding a majority of the right notes. Most of the blue notes I hit on purpose. The brown notes were accidental. lol

Thanks Richard but I don't think Korrigan and Amber will be taking B.B. and Lucille's place any time soon. lol

As for the pentatonic scale, who knows who or even when it was concocted? Pythagoras wrote about it in his Musica Universalis nearly 2500 years ago. The Babylonians had it 2000 years before that. Even the oldest bone flutes ever found have the pentatonic scale... 40,000 years old!  Maybe it was the serpent in the Garden of Eden?   : 0

I swear the pentatonic scale was concocted by a very evil person. #11 sound and looks tops! Maybe should be called  Lucille , very nice playing Korrigan!
