Thanks all! I have since made some "improvements" to the guitar - if you would like to see them they are the most recent pictures of mine.  Forgot I added this vid, got surprised when I chcked my emails and I had a couple of dozen saying that people had commented! Lol.  Hopefully will upload one of me playing a bit better -  no excuses for it other than sloppy playing. :)  thanks for all of the encouragement, it is much appreciated. :)

Hey mate, sounding good. Build a guitar in an hour an a half, take it home, plug it in and play - cant get better than that!

How cool was it?...a couple of dozen people frantically hacking away with saws, chisels, mallets and soldering irons...and everyone made a playable guitar..make the guitar before lunch..learn how to play it after lunch..that's the way to do it!!!
