here is a small sound sample of the bobbypin frets .
related to this video http://www.cigarboxnation.com/video/don-t-fret-no-fretwire-no-slots-no-problem-easy-frets

please keep in mind this is just the fret board clamped onto a fretless guitar for the test . and not firmly or properly secured or placed .

sounds pretty darn good . looks good to

(Wish me luck.)

i think  the buzzy sound  is either  my  recording or  your computer   .  it sounds   like  normal  guitar in real  life .

Interesting sound. Got some of that buzzy quality you got out of those old Coral Electric Sitars except it was their bridge that did it instead of their frets. Pretty cool. Now I'm gonna have to give this a try just to see what can be done with it. Thanks for sharing your idea with the rest of us. Much obliged.

That's the sound a fretful pig makes.

no "DDDDzzzzzOOOOiiiiinnnnkkkkk" sounds... so good solution for fret...

"c'est très interessant Sir...

dans la pratique tout va bien...

mais comment cela fonctionne-t-il en théorie?"

(lol again)

"It's not a question of where he grips it. It's a simple a question of weight ratios..."

If it works, it works.  Some of the responses brought to mind an old joke about a French philosopher...."That's very interesting Monsieur....it is all very well in practice, but how does it work in theory?"....
