thanks, yeah wasn't sure whether to do the holes or one big hole and get some speaker cloth. That can be expensive though and I thought this would be less fragile if I stick it in a bag to go busking.)

   Lets see a pic or vid if you do transform your amp : -)

thanks Bob...yeah I 've come across all sorts of noise while busking. Bagpipes, roadworks, dustbin lorrys, church bells (that's what you get for busking on a Sunday!) drunk men, huge groups of tourists......

   It's not as loud as the Microcube but I might try it in a quiet spot when I don't feel like lugging too much stuff : -)
