This was my 2nd build, and first fret attempt. I switched to coat hangers after this (see my photos). Song is Stealin' Stealin' by Memphis Jug Band.

@ 407bug I use wood spade bits for the holes. Hand held drilling seems to be better so you can control the speed. I did one the other day with a drill press and it did not turn out too well. I have no plans on going electric on this one.

And thanks Sammy Lloyd, a friend just gave me 25 boxes that are small so I'm going to be making many ukuleles soon.

Nnnnnniiiiiiiiiccccccccceeeeeeeeeeee...I'm loving every detail.........

How do you your round resonator holes so well... such a good fit?

Yup,that is gonna sound amazing!......try using a 0.047 Paper in Oil cap too in the circuit....ky42 or ky40-09

(I got some rusky ones if you need one cheap..) will you be selling this one... add me to the list if you do??????

Can't wait to see it finished.....

Lovin it Dwayne, love to see some more of your tunes and as I'm really getting into cigar box ukulele's I'd love to see any hints/tips/discoveries in your builds. Nice one mate, well done.

I've started to build a baritone uke for my son. I hope it will sound like yours.
