That song overflows with the blues...can feel the guy's pain. Great job Eric, and you even included the head shot in the video...good form!

Thanks Ron.  In a different mood, I can see transitioning this into an angry drunk kinda thing.  I was really trying to mellow myself out and this worked for Wednesday night.

Love it! I kept expecting you to break into the screaming version by Van Morrison and Them. I remember seeing PR&TR on TV in the mid-late 60's, musta been on something like American Bandstand...

Nicely done sir!

And the 'Grumpy Old Git' CBG - sounds the perfect guitar for me; just ask the missus!

Nicely done. Agree with Unc - perfect tune for your voice.

Wow, thanks Uncle John.  Starting from Sunday I've had a pretty intense week in my business life.  Lots of pressure and little sleep.  I handle both very well and it's part of who I am, but I had to record this to mellow myself out after all that.

What Clock said.   Great playing and just right for your voice.   Better put this on your permanent repertoire.   Your best yet.

Thanks Wes.  This is one of the first songs I can remember hearing/singing as a kid, but not a classic version.  I found a box of records my mom had growing up and two of my favorites were Dave Clark Five and Paul Revere and the Raiders.  I would listen to both constantly and sing along into a flashlight microphone when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade.  This song was on Just Like Us.
