Thanks Vinnie. Glad to hear you're feeling better after your own back problems. I'm somewhat better today after a good night's sleep and managed to get up for a few hours too. Glad you like the video and thanks for your kind words of encouragement. :o)

I know about being bed ridden with back pain. Deflecting your attention to something else helps most of the time. Ride it out and play on.

Sugar is a good thing to get our of the old diet! How come the best tasting things to eat are the most unhealthy!  It’s easy to get stuck on painkillers, and come a time they may have a place. But I like your a fighter and don’t  succumb to the pain pills Bear! Music is always a good escape for you, that was a real nice cover, perfect tones is your trademark. Hope your on the upswing to relief very soon! You have two very important ingredients to happiness going for ya! Lady and the blues!

Thanks Dave. Glad you like it. Thanks also for sharing your experience with back pain. I'm a firm believer in that the younger generations can learn a lot by listening to the generations before. I'm really glad to hear that you're almost completely pain free nowadays. That's awesome to hear.

My back pain is linked to a degenerative nerve condition and a host of physical deformaties of the spine itself unfortunately. The "degenerative" part also means that it's only going to get worse too. I'm definitely going to try the swimming as much as I can (I'll have to learn to swim first haha) and who doesn't love a sauna? I'm a pescatarian so eat lots of fish and veggies but never any meat but I'll look into how I could eat more healthily. Thanks again for your advice and for sharing your experience.

In other news, today is day two where I'm sugar free! I swapped all my sugar in tea, coffee and on cereal for sweetener yesterday and it's going much better than I had expected. I'm also not eating sweets (candy), chocolate, biscuits (cookies) or cakes any more either. Hoping to lose some of my resemblance to a beached whale soon haha. Wish me good fortune! :D
