Arab Spring

This may not be to everybody's taste, but I love North African music and had an idea in mind last summer to do something. I was further inspired by the belly dancing spot at last year's Boxstock and so here it is... a westerner's musical impression of events, some amazing and heartbreaking images have poured out of our TV screens over the last fifteen or so months from the Middle East, and still it goes on!

Comment by Uncle John on March 10, 2012 at 2:06pm: I think this is the best song off Steve's excellent new album. Lots of tension and power building -especially starting just after 3 minutes in. Even though the belly dancers are beautifully distracting - I think the other photos are more fitting.
