AGP #356 ''LOWDM'' Paris Texas 25 May 2019

Sound Sample of my version of Ry Cooder's "Paris Texas" (aka Harry Dean Stanton wandering around in the desert), on the recently finished AGP #356 - "Little old Wine Drinker Me" Build :-)

"Obrigado Mauricio" Sim, esta música de Ry Cooder tem aquela sensação perdida no deserto :-)

Linda interpretação com melodia que me faz fechar os olhos e viajar pela imensidão do deserto

"Thanks Pine", one of my Fave tunes, play it quite a lot, have been doing a lot of fast Rockin' type tunes lately, but I'm going through Slow Blues a stage at the moment  :-)

Drips with soul and imagery. Cool tone and real nice, precise slide playing. Sweet!

"Thanks Richard" for some very encouraging comments, totally agree with the playing fast and dirty bit about hiding a lot of ones inadequacies, and will definitely investigate the Levon Helm DVD Tribute. :-)

There’s an excellent DVD tribute to Levon Helms, what an amazing artist and songwriter. Great range of tones with red wine #356 AGP! Wonderful slow sliding. That’s the hardest for me, sustaining a tone without it going flat. Playing fast , you can get away with murdering the notes, as long as you hit the right one every other time. Always a joy listening to you play your current builds, this was perfect mood music for Sunday afternoon.

"Thanks Andries", Yep!, happy with the Tone on this one, it could be attributed to "The Red Wine", but it has never been used for carrying the 2 bottles of "Red Plonk" it was designed for, :-D

Thanks 'UJ', Yes!, I thought this Build deserved a more slow relaxed approach to it, But!, it does make loud noises when on the Gritty settings, I too love Ry's music, and have been a long time fan of Levon Helm, from way back in the days of Yore, when he was with Ronnie Hawkins and The Hawks & The Band, also loved him as Loretta's Dad in "The Coal Miner's Daughter", which along with O'Bro is  another of my Fave Movies  :-)

What are you amp settings?  Hunh, no gain.  Sounds great.  Well played sir.  Slow and relaxed.

I love old Ry Cooder's music.  Have you sampled Levon Helm?  Lots of his stuff on youtube.
