yeah , that was the idea John .  even though  i was talking to him pretty much nightly from the night of  him complaining of "side pains"  and us both   thinking  / hoping it was  "gas"  . to  his hospital visit calling it  "chronic nausea" , to coming back home , then   returning to the hospital    and getting  the cancer diagnosis ..... then boom  !  .  gone,... all  within a couple of months .   i  was still struck  with the disbelief  , it's like someone hung up on us  .  :-/

What a wonderful story AP, albeit tinged with sadness. Like you say, folks in these parts are very cool, yourself included....A lovely thing you tried to do there, and a beautiful git to remember your friend by as well. Thanks for sharing.
