I would have tried to do it Belinda, but I would have felt kind of pressured and may or may not have been able to do it.  You did great.

thanks John, I'm guessing you'd have done it if you'd got the message? I really didn't fancy it at first, but my brain just started working on it?!...and I really did nearly forget the dog, lol! I've pointed Rick to the lessons on the Nation and am awaiting a return song...

 Was pleased to see the following comment from Rick on YouTube:

"Daggonit ! I actually got a little teary eyed ! Thank you so much , I can't stop smiling , you are my new best friend today , lol . So help me when I learn to play it , I will write a song and send it to you but I promise it won't sound that good . It'll probably be bluesy and I will probably have a lil sangria in me , to loosen up the pipes a little . Have a great day , I just did ."

Whew!  I was feeling pressure thinking I might try to join a song writing sample.  Glad to be off the hook.

Be, this is absolutely wonderful.  Much good on you for taking up the challenge and then taking it over the rainbow.  LOL on nearly forgetting to include the dog and pig.

Happy birthday and good luck to Rick on learning to play.  I hope he checks out knotlenny's CBG 101.
